Summer update no. 2

My sewing projects have definitely picked up speed even if summer has to come to a halt. I get some sewing, quilting, cutting and preparing done every day and this certainly makes up for all this bad weather!

Turnstyle #13 for the Modern HST Sampler:

Last week I discovered a page on the internet with miniatur dioramas and I finally got an idea for a birthday block. I am so curious to see how this quilt turns out, because the birthday lady got one block from each of the guild members, all to do with houses.

And my sewing group is also accelerating their speed - the women and girls started to do a lot more at home, finishing the sewing projects and waiting for the next ones to start.

The improv jeans bags, three out of five are finished.

Also the first baby quilt is almost finished, only the binding has to be added.

And the girls made hexagons bags and insisted on using skull fabrics!

Thank you Barbara and Gisela for your fabric donations - they were soooo much appreciated and all of them had fun choosing them. More pictures are to come when the others are finished.

Wish you all a sewingful summer!!
